Pastor Evella Mickey Smith is a native of Birmingham Alabama and married 31 years to the love of her life, Bishop W. J. Smith Jr. of Houston, Texas. To their union they have one son, Dawnoven and his wife, Emiley. Pastor Mickey is affectionately known as GoGo to her grandman Mr. Smith Jr. and their newest addition, her grandgirl, Lil Miss Audrey Elyse.

She is an ordained Pastor/Prophet at New Beginnings Christian Center, Jacksonville NC where she serves in several capacities. Pastor Mickey is a 20-year United States Marine Corps Retired Veteran and obtained both her Associate and Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies and Master of Arts Degree in Theological Studies from Liberty University, and a Masters in Christian Counseling from Justice Fellowship. Her pursuit of scholarship continues with Liberty University’s Doctoral program, Doctor of Ministry in Biblical Studies.

Pastor Mickey is the proprietor of A Lady’s Touch By Mickey, LLC which focuses on character building, personal and professional development, spiritual rejuvenation, total wellness & fitness, and social event planning.

Her passion for bettering her community was the driving force behind her desire to join several advisory committees and national organizations. She continues to expanded her knowledge of servanthood and provide opportunities to serve physically, creatively, financially, and spiritually. In addition to her community outreach, Pastor Mickey facilitates monthly prayer calls and prophetic training. She considers her servitude rewarding and has reinforced her cause to persevere in prayer and focus on God’s will for her life and others.
